Diana + Patrick love Sayulita for the festive culture, beach, surf and food. They wanted to bring their closest people to celebrate their nuptials in this special location so creating an enticing, upscale, playful wedding invitation suite was really important. We included lots of scenery details to show the lay of the land and dotted in lots of personal details throughout all the paper goods from start to finish. A beautiful, colorful, personality driven collection was born.

When the couple is on board, using die cut shapes to tie around the gatefold for a playful stacked look inside the envelope is such a fun more! It makes opening the invitation suite a whole moment before the invitation is even pulled out and opened up.

We love a gatefold. It’s so versatile. It’s packed with personality. It feels like a wedding storybook! In Diana and Patricks gatefold, we used the inside to layout a full map design and include the wedding events information + QR code on the side panels. It created a fully immersive design experience for their guests, making this new location to travel to feel easier to digest at a glance and really set the scene!

how it works
step one
Fill out the inquiry form + schedule an optional 15-minute inquiry call with us.
step Two
Quote: Receive and review your quote.
Step Three
Move forward — You’ll receive your contract and an invoice to pay your 50% deposit. From there, you’ll schedule a 30-minute design kick-off call with me! Following the call, we’ll send you a verbiage intake form and an address sheet so you can share all the accurate event information needed for your stationery and envelope addressing.
Step four
Brainstorming & Sketching — The fun begins! I’ll begin brainstorming and sketching to present you with your first proof. You get up to three proofs to ensure your vision is met before the painting begins.
Step five
Painting — I’ll start painting your vision to life! As with the brainstorming portion of the project, you are allotted three proofs to ensure your full-picture vision is met and all verbiage is accurate. Any additional proof required after the third will incur a fee.
Step six
Printing & Production — You sign off on your final proof and I’ll begin formatting all your stationery files to be sent to print.
Step Seven
Assembly & Mailing — We’ll receive all the final stationery and any agreed-upon embellishments for assembly in the studio before sending your wedding invitations out to be mailed!
