Haley + Adrian love the beach, their pups, good vibes and color. We had so much fun painting all the playful details like a crocodile in a lounge chair by the water, iguanas amongst the lush, tropical foliage and of course, both of their dogs as little butlers holding trays of drink and food! This is a perfect example of inserting your personality into your stationery to set the tone for your big day!

When the scenery is as gorgeous as this, it absolutely must be included. We love using the scenery artwork as the cover for your gatefold so it feels like when they open the flap, it’s like they are entering the scene before they’ve actually set foot on the property. It’s all about the story telling details with your stationery. Like a sophisticated picture book or an upscale travel brochure, wedding style.

One of our favorite ways to immediately convert upscale, luxury and sophistication amongst all of the fun, whimsical watercolor artwork seen throughout the invitation suite is to have the invitation be printed with either white foil ink or letterpress. Both leave an impression in the extra thick stock, letting the traditional printing method and the paper weight speak for itself to your guests. Think, yes, we are going to have fun and maybe see some iguanas but this is also a high end affair.

A combination of your wedding location, wedding theme and personal details about you as a couple are the recipe to success when creating a truly unique invitation suite. Taking all those elements and creating a tossed pattern is the perfect blend of whimsy meets personality that your guests will instantly recognize upon opening.

step one
Fill out the inquiry form + schedule an optional 15-minute inquiry call with us.
step Two
Quote: Receive and review your quote.
Step Three
Move forward — You’ll receive your contract and an invoice to pay your 50% deposit. From there, you’ll schedule a 30-minute design kick-off call with me! Following the call, we’ll send you a verbiage intake form and an address sheet so you can share all the accurate event information needed for your stationery and envelope addressing.
Step four
Brainstorming & Sketching — The fun begins! I’ll begin brainstorming and sketching to present you with your first proof. You get up to three proofs to ensure your vision is met before the painting begins.
Step five
Painting — I’ll start painting your vision to life! As with the brainstorming portion of the project, you are allotted three proofs to ensure your full-picture vision is met and all verbiage is accurate. Any additional proof required after the third will incur a fee.
Step six
Printing & Production — You sign off on your final proof and I’ll begin formatting all your stationery files to be sent to print.
Step Seven
Assembly & Mailing — We’ll receive all the final stationery and any agreed-upon embellishments for assembly in the studio before sending your wedding invitations out to be mailed!
